Tracy Larson

RCC-ACS, CCPA

I work with people who feel exhausted, resentful, afraid, angry, or hopeless.

My name is Tracy, I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor (RCC-ACS) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I am also registered with the Canadian Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (CPCA).

I live and practice therapy in Prince George. I am Canadian and I was born and have lived for most of my life in Prince George on Lheidli T’enneh territory. I am a lifelong learner and am almost finished my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.

I provide online and in-person therapy specializing in helping adults who are struggling to return to work after disability, struggling with burnout, depression, anxiety, and struggling with complex mental health diagnoses like bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, complex PTSD, major depressive disorder and more.

I also work with individuals who are feeling dissatisfied or unhappy in their relationships or people who struggle to maintain stable intimate relationships.

I provide clinical supervision to other therapists.

I offer therapy in English.

I care, accept, and value each of my clients and I work to create an environment where you feel comfortable, safe, and free to be who you
are on your life journey.

It can be hard to find a therapist who understands your unique experiences and mental health issues. I can give you authentic, caring, professional support.

I bring my own life experience to our therapeutic relationship – our similarities and differences provide opportunities for learning and growth. I collaborate with you to personalize your therapy experience, so you get what you need from this deeply personal process.

I have worked in not-for-profit agencies, as an educator and a school counsellor, and with community mental health organizations to support the healing of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

I will create a respectful and collaborative therapy relationship with you so together we can work toward the change you want to make. When you understand your experiences and connect with your body, mind, and spirit, you can learn to use healthy coping methods to better respond to triggers, and feel in control of your thoughts, emotions, and actions.

I am committed to supporting you to feel empowered, able, and alive. You can move forward and release feelings of resentment, blame, and shame and feel a renewed sense of self-worth and self-determination.

If you feel that we may be a good fit, you can book your first session online.

Accepting new clients in British Columbia, Alberta, and other locations in Canada. I am available for appointments on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and some Saturdays.
