Let’s work together to help you, or your child, find balance, confidence, and calm again.

My name is Aisha Leone, and I’m a practicum student at HML Wellness Solutions, currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology under the supervision of Tracy Larson, RCC-ACS. I’m a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and the Canadian Association for Play Therapy (CAPT), with certifications in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and CTP (Certified Trauma Professional).

Based in Prince George, on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh, I offer both in-person and virtual counselling. I bring over thirteen years of experience as a classroom and support teacher, where I worked closely with children, youth, and families in School District 57. This experience has shaped my understanding of how learning, relationships, and emotional well-being intertwine — and how much children and parents alike need safe, compassionate spaces to be heard.

My approach is strength-based and person-centred, with an emphasis on creating a calm, accepting, and collaborative environment. My role as a counsellor is to walk alongside you with curiosity and care, honouring you as the expert in your own life as we explore what feels heavy.

I specialize in helping:

  • Children and youth navigating stress, behaviour concerns, school anxiety, and social challenges

  • Adults managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, or compassion fatigue

  • Families and caregivers seeking better communication and emotional balance

  • Educators and helping professionals coping with chronic stress or emotional exhaustion

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals seeking an inclusive, affirming counselling space

In our sessions, I often draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, blending these approaches based on what works best for you. When working with younger clients, I also integrate play and art-based methods to help them express what words can’t always capture.

Let’s work together to help you, or your child, find balance, confidence, and calm again.

I am currently accepting new clients. In-person sessions are available for children and youth, and both in-person and virtual sessions are available for adults.

If you’re ready to take the first step towards positive change, book your initial session online today.
