RATES & INSURANCE

Individual sessions are
$130 to $150(plus GST) per session 
50-minute session

This depends upon the practitioner that you are working with.  

Sliding Scale Available:

HML Wellness Solutions extends a compassionate approach to mental health care by offering sliding-scale therapy, ensuring accessibility for clients across varying financial circumstances. Clients seeking support can reach out to us to request this service.

Payment:

We accept payment via E-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. 

We Direct Bill:

  • Canadian Construction Workers Union

  • Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance

  • Crime Victim Assistance Program

  • First Nations Health Authority

  • ICBC

  • Telus eClaims

Cancellation Policy:

 If you need to cancel your appointment, please call or email at least 48 hours in advance.  If it is out of office hours, please leave a voice message.

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Standard Document Rates:

Documents:

The base rate is $130.00 to $150.00 per hour plus GST and includes:

  • Progress reports

  • File reviews

  • Form completion

Letters: 

Based on the amount of time needed to complete the letter.

Attendance Reports: 

$35.00 (plus GST).

Progress Reports:

Base rate is $130.00 to $150.00 per one hour (plus GST).  The rate depends on the practitioner you are working with and the length of time it takes to write the progress report.  Minimum charge of 1 hour will apply.

Court Testimony:

If one of our practitioners is subpoenaed to court, we charge the following fees:

  • $150.00 per hour including wait time at court and this applies even if the court case is delayed or continued or dismissed

  • Transportation to and from the court (mileage billed at current government rate or other transportation such as airfare if this is out of Prince George)

  • Parking fees

  • Hotel and meals (if the court case is out of Prince George)

File Review:

Base rate is $130.00 to $150.00 per one hour (plus GST).  The rate depends on the practitioner you are working with and the length of time it takes to review your file and draw up the report.

Insurance:

Questions to consider:

  • Do you have mental health insurance benefits?

  • Does your insurance cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), a Registered Social Worker (MSW), or a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC)

  • What is your deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does your health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is approval required from your primary care physician?
